Popularized with its flagship killer models, OnePlus is preparing to introduce a new affordable model in addition to the Nord model. We look closely at the details of the device in the Geekbench performance test database with the model code BE2028.
The new model is expected to use the Snapdragon 690 chipset lately announced by Qualcomm as the processing unit. The chipset, which has not been used in any model up to now, has 6 Cortex-A55 cores with 1.7 GHz frequency, along with 2 Cortex-A77 cores that can operate at a frequency of 2.0 GHz.
The device scores 609 points with the single core from the Geekbench test and 1728 points from the multi-core test. Although it is a bit behind, looking at the Geekbench scores, the chipset, which is quite like Snapdragon 765G, is powered by the Adreno 619 chip on the graphics side. The new model, which is expected to offer 6 GB of RAM capacity in the base model, lags behind the Nord model, which will have at least 8 GB of RAM in this regard. Looking at these features, it is possible to say that OnePlus will come up with a more affordable option than Nord model.
There is no other information about the model expected to come out of the box with the Oxygen OS interface running on the Android 10 operating system. Let us also mention that the information in question is based on leaks and may vary.
